built event and convention facility. The Federation Concert Hall and the
Convention Centre provide a tiered auditorium which seats 1,100 people and a
ballroom for 1,000 plus other meeting and seminar rooms.
The largest in house meeting and event centre in the South Island of New
Zealand is at Hotel Grand Chancellor Christchurch. This facility is capable of
seating up to 1,200 people but can equally accommodate smaller groups.
