Grand Hotels International, hereafter referred to as GHI, is committed to ensuring that all Users' privacy is protected. We recognise and acknowledge the importance and the need for appropriate protection of all personal information provided by our Users to us.

Please read this Policy carefully before submitting personal information about you to us. Please also note that this Policy does not apply to our processing of personal information on behalf of and subject to instructions of third parties such as airlines, car rental companies and other service provider, companies that organize or offer packaged travel arrangements, marketing partners, or customers.

Type of Information Collected

The type of personal information we collect about you will depend on what services you use on the Website. This may include collecting your name and address, your email address, your contact address, company details, date of birth, credit card details for booking transactions including the three-digit code that appears on the back of your credit card, preferred communication methods, business name, title and business address, member number, date of arrival and departure, room and vacation preferences, travel history and whatever other information you choose to supply to us..

Our web server collects the following types of information for statistical purposes about Users to the Website:

Our Website booking engine uses '3DSSL' as our secure booking system for credit card transactions.

Your information is disclosed to our Hotel's employees on "a need to know" basis and we confirm that all such persons understand the importance of client confidentiality and privacy.

We also seek to require our affiliates and service providers to exercise reasonable efforts to maintain the confidentiality of personal information about you. For online transactions, we use technology to protect the personal information that you transmit to us via our site. However, no security system or system of transmitting data over the Internet can be guaranteed to be entirely secure.

For your own privacy protection, we encourage you not to include sensitive personal information in any emails you may send to us. Please do not send credit card numbers or any sensitive personal information to us via email.

Should you contact us, our security procedures may require us to request proof of identity before we are able to disclose any information to you.

Purpose and Use of Information Collected

All personal information collected by GHI will be used to ensure our marketing programmes are tailored to you and your interests. Any personal information collected is fundamental in order for you to participate in our loyalty programmes and e-marketing programmes. If you have chosen to receive news and specials online, this will be sent to your nominated e-mail address. These offers may be based on information you have provided and/or on your history with us as a customer.

If you prefer not to be contacted, Users can 'unsubscribe' from any e-marketing programmes.

Disclosure to Third Parties

We do not disclose your personal information to any third party without your consent, except when necessary to protect against fraud or any other crime (usually by providing such information to a reputable reporting organisation) or in the unlikely event that we sell our business then to the purchaser of that business.

Our Website may employ the use of "Cookies". Most browsers automatically accept Cookies, but you can usually change your browser to prevent that if you wish.

Updating, Maintenance and Accuracy of your Information

It is the intention of GHI to ensure that all information held relating to you is kept up-to-date, accurate and complete.

Please contact us or update your profile should your personal details require changing or deleting.

If you wish to exercise your right to seek access to the personal information held by a specific hotel, then please contact the hotel or General Manager directly. If you wish to access information held by GHI at our corporate office, then you should address your request in writing to our Group Sales Administrator.

We will endeavour to respond to requests from you to update or delete your information in an efficient and timely manner.

The Website may contain hyperlinks which may enable you to leave the Website. GHI does not review or monitor any websites linked to and from our Website and is not responsible for the content or accuracy of any such linked websites

Your linking to any websites is at your sole risk and subject to the terms and conditions of those sites. GHI is not responsible for the information, products, or services obtained on such other sites and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your access to or use of such sites. Any links to other websites are provided for the convenience of the Users of the Website and the inclusion of these links does not imply an endorsement of the linked sites or the content therein. If you provide information on third party sites, the privacy policy and terms of service on those sites are applicable.
